Hi!! I’m LeVera – birth doula, HypnoBirthing® Childbirth Educator, birth photographer, and the storyteller behind LeVera Marken Photography. For 16 years, I’ve been capturing light, love, and legacy across the Shenandoah Valley. In 2023, I opened the doors to my dream studio; a warm, intimate space where families can celebrate the beauty of their beginnings through a more luxurious and intentional experience.

As a mother to three radiant souls, I’ve learned that the most powerful images are born from truth; the quiet glances, the gentle touches, the in-between moments that speak volumes. My style is rooted in connection, always seeking the heart of the story rather than the pose.

I have been naturally supporting mothers for years, but recently added “birth doula” to my title in 2025.  I bring this same reverence and presence into the birthing environment – holding space, witnessing transformation, and honoring the strength of women and the miracle of new life.

I am endlessly grateful to walk beside so many beautiful families on their journey.  I can’t wait to meet yours!
